Get This! is a compilation album containing tracks from the very
first batch of new artists to come into contact with the Flat Records
label. The album is unique because all the tracks were recorded using a
totally new and innovative method of recording using an 'Audio Enhancement'
system designed and built by the engineers at Panther Sudios.
This gives the album a superb and unique sound quality which is of an
exceptionally high standard and still unrivalled today.
Most of the bands and artists included on the 'Get This!' album were
completely unheard of at the time of it's initial release in 1989, yet some of them have
gone on to become chart successes and house-hold names. The early recordings
by these artists in itself makes the album quite collectable.
BoysWonder for instance now call themselves 'Corduroy' and have found
new success on the Acid Jazz label. See if you can spot some other acts
